I saw Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen doing Godot in 2009 in London at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. it was nearly 90 degrees in the theater. They sold melted ice cream at intermission. A boy in front of us banged an empty plastic water bottle against his head to stay awake. It was sublime.

I was riding home from the bookstore on my bike (with a freshly-purchased paperback of A Civil Campaign, as I recallThe maker or a government agency pulled this product. Check the model or lot number and stop using it until it's fixed or refunded.) when a car clipped my rear tire. Totaled the bike, I had road rash basically all up my right side, which looked and felt awful but was thankfully (and literally) only skin-deep.
