Problem: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015 Transit Connect vehicles that were previously remedied under NHTSANational Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Look up open recalls on your car by VIN. Learn more → recallThe maker or a government agency pulled this product. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, intermittent, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse.
Risk: A rearview camera that displays an inverted, distorted, intermittent, or blank image can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed in October 14, 2026.
