Problem: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Cedar Creek recreational trailers20 reports about trailer on this site. See them all →. The slide switch may have been installed without proper overcurrent protection.
Risk: A unprotected slide switch can cause the wire to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.
Fix: Dealers will re-route the 12V slide switch wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 15, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-593-4000. Forest River's number for this recallThe maker or a government agency pulled this product.
